Continued support from the Ethnic Minority Development Fund (EN)

23 August, 2026

We’re delighted and extremely grateful to receive support from the Ethnic Minority Development Fund for a second year! This year, we’ll focus on making mental health support easier to access for people who face financial and other practical barriers. We’ll also run community workshops tailored to different groups, helping people talk about mental health, understand the pressures affecting their wellbeing, and access support earlier.

New Minority Stress Workshops Now Underway (EN)

29 November, 2025

We have started a new series of workshops on minority stress, which refers to the additional stress that people from minority or marginalised groups may experience due to ongoing barriers, stigma, or exclusion. It differs from everyday stress because it can accumulate over time and is shaped by social conditions rather than individual factors. Through these workshops, we support minority communities by building understanding and sharing practical, supportive strategies to help manage stress and protect wellbeing.

National Lottery Funding to Help Us Grow and Support (EN)

4 August, 2025

We’re excited to announce that we’ve received support from The National Lottery Community Fund’s Ethnic Minority Development Fund! This funding will help us reach more people in communities that don’t always get the mental health support they need, and it will also support counselling students from minority backgrounds - including Polish speakers - by giving them the opportunity to develop their skills with us. A huge thank you to The National Lottery and everyone who made this possible.
